Basketball Recap: Alto Takes a Loss

Alto lost against Grapeland back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Alto Yellowjackets were dealt a 77-45 defeat at the hands of the Grapeland Sandies.

Alto dropped their record down to 9-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Grapeland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Alto and Cushing will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Grapeland will take on Groveton in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Grapeland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
