Basketball Recap: Eastridge Comes Up Short

Eastridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 63-43 to the Brighton Bruins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 70-60 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Eastridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Brighton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastridge will face off against Pittsford at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Brighton, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Webster Thomas at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Brighton has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 183 points over their last three matchups.
