Basketball Recap: Checotah Find Success

There's no place like home for Checotah, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Eufaula Ironheads by the margin of a single free throw, 41-40. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-31 on January 3rd.

Checotah pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Eufaula, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Checotah will face off against Muldrow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eufaula, they will head out on the road to face off against Stigler at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eufaula is facing Stigler at the right time seeing as Stigler is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
