Basketball Recap: Powers Comes Up Short

Powers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 42-31 to Pacific. The Cruisers were not able to make up for their defeat to Pacific from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Powers' loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Pacific, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Powers will take on Mapleton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Mapleton will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Powers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pacific, they will host Glendale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
