Softball Recap: Byron Takes a Loss

Byron lost against Pearl City back in May of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 8-3 to the Wolves.

Byron saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Bauer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Byron has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Pearl City, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Byron didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-1 win against Ashton-Franklin Center on the 19th. As for Pearl City, they have also already played their next matchup, a 16-2 victory against West Carroll on the 19th.
