Softball Recap: Windham Comes Up Short

If Windham was feeling good fresh off their 13-7 takedown of East Windsor last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Whippets fell 15-11 to the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs on Wednesday. The Whippets haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lyman Memorial, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windham will square off against Plainfield at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lyman Memorial, they will head out to face off against Ellis RVT at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
