Basketball Game Preview: Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies vs. Rochester Zebras

The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies will challenge the Rochester Zebras at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Plymouth's tournament run continued when they took on Portage last Saturday. Plymouth fell just short of Portage by a score of 42-39.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rochester). They blew past Kouts 49-29 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Zebras who have now won three contests in a row.

Rochester pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Plymouth, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Plymouth didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Rochester in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 44-39 win. Does Plymouth have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rochester turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
