Soccer Recap: Classical Comes Up Short

Classical managed to keep up with North Smithfield until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Purple came up short against the Northmen, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that Classical have lost by exactly three goals.

Classical has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for North Smithfield, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Classical has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against East Providence on the 26th. As for North Smithfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Mt. Hope on the 25th.
