Volleyball Recap: University Prep's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six + How To Watch

University Prep had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Anderson Cubs as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 6th.

University Prep was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Campbell Cogle, who had eight digs and three aces. Those eight digs gave her a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: University Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 21 consecutive matchups.

Despite the defeat, Anderson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Isabel Sturges had 30 digs.

University Prep's record now sits at 27-8. As for Anderson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-22.

As of now, neither University Prep nor the Cubs have any future games scheduled.
