Baseball Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Freedom can now relate to. They came up short against the Dr. Phillips Panthers on Tuesday, falling 13-3. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Freedom saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Ignacio Perozo, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Sebastian Castaneda also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Freedom's record is now 12-9. As for Dr. Phillips, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Freedom nor Dr. Phillips have any future games scheduled.
