Soccer Recap: Tharptown Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tharptown can now relate to. They came up short against the Collinsville Panthers on Monday, falling 8-1. While losing is never fun, Tharptown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Collinsville are ranked 30th).

Tharptown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-3. As for Collinsville, their victory bumped their record up to 19-3-1.

As of now, neither Tharptown nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
