Volleyball Recap: Arroyo Valley Comes Up Short

Arroyo Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Bloomington Bruins.

While Arroyo Valley was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bloomington's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-19.

Arroyo Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Bloomington, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Arroyo Valley Hawks take on Eisenhower Eagles at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Bloomington, they will take on Rim of the World at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
