Baseball Game Preview: Centennial Hawks vs. Organ Mountain Knights

For the second straight game, Centennial will face off against Organ Mountain. The Hawks will take on the Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Centennial is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Organ Mountain, who was ranked ninth at the time (Centennial was ranked 15th). The Hawks never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Monday. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Gilberto Torres was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched.
