Basketball Recap: Jupiter Picks Up 12th Straight Win on the Road

On Saturday, the Jupiter Warriors earned a 66-53 victory over the Father Lopez Green Wave. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Green Wave are ranked 423rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jupiter pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Father Lopez, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jupiter and Buchholz will round out the year against one another at at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Father Lopez, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Orangewood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Orangewood Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
