North Jersey - Meadowlands recap November 13, 2013

Palisades Park/Leonia's Robert Then rumbled for the longest rushing play in North Jersey - Meadowlands this season in his game against Ridgefield Memorial last week. Then's team bested the Royals as he sprinted for 84 yards on the play and finished with 104 in all.

Hasbrouck Heights extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Pompton Lakes, 28-21. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.

Darren Iurato and Mike Incremona gave Hasbrouck Heights a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Iurato threw for 126 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Incremona ran for 192 yards. Teammate Iurato added to the ground attack by rushing for 101 yards.

Becton's Karriem Royster and Joe Penna have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Royster has thrown for 1,432 yards this season, while Penna has 53 catches for 669 yards. Queen of Peace's Kevin Momnohin leads the league in rushing yards with 1,799.

Waldwick/Midland Park took down Secaucus 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
