Soccer Game Preview: Andrews vs. Murphy

The Andrews Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Murphy Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Andrews' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Thursday, Andrews came up short against Highlands and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Murphy). They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Andrews on Monday. The result was nothing new for Murphy, who have now won five matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Murphy's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Andrews, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Andrews might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Murphy in their previous meeting on Monday. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
