Football Game Preview: North Greene Huskies vs. Unaka Rangers + How To Watch

The North Greene Huskies will face off against the Unaka Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Greene will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

On Friday, North Greene was fully in charge, breezing past Sunbright 54-14. That 40 point margin sets a new team best for the Huskies this season.

A big part of North Greene's victory came down to the chemistry between Jared Swatzell and his top target Brandon Weems. Swatzell picked up 28 receiving yards and one score while Weems rushed for 52 yards and one touchdown on only five carries.

Meanwhile, Unaka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 55-0 defeat at the hands of Cloudland.

Unaka's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for North Greene, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything came up roses for North Greene against Unaka in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 44-6 win. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Rangers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
