Basketball Recap: Lebanon Homeschool Piles Up the Points Against Aurora Christian Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lebanon HomeSchool). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Aurora Christian Academy Arrows 87-53. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Rockets had established a 21 point advantage.

Despite the loss, Aurora Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Sawyer Jones, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, Jones is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Seth McAlister, who posted ten points.

Lebanon HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Aurora Christian Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-10.

Lebanon HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aurora Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain Grove Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 18th.
