Lausanne Collegiate's win came from a few key players First Assembly Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Zuri McClure, who earned 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Calvin Pittman III was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.
Lausanne Collegiate's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for First Assembly Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: First Assembly Christian has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 30.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Lausanne Collegiate struggles in that department as they've been averaging 38 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
First Assembly Christian took a serious blow against Lausanne Collegiate when the teams last played back in January, falling 79-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of McClure, who shot 71% from the field en route to 31 points along with five boards and four steals. Now that the Crusaders know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
