Baseball Recap: Nine Straight Home Wins for Dawson School

Dawson School won the last time they faced Flatirons Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Bison by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Milo Richtel was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Jaxson Wheat was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Dawson School's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Flatirons Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dawson School will welcome Bishop Machebeuf at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Buffaloes have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Flatirons Academy, they will be playing at home against Lyons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something the Bison will no doubt try to take advantage of.
