Basketball Recap: Kearsarge Takes a Loss

Kearsarge was the 43-24 winner over Monadnock when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kearsarge Cougars took a 37-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monadnock Huskies on Friday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kearsarge's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Monadnock, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Kearsarge will take on Hillsboro-Deering at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Monadnock, they will challenge Conant at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monadnock will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
