Lee-Scott Academy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.25 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They came up short against the Beulah Bobcats, falling 11-1. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Lee-Scott Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Mezick, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was Mezick's first of the season.
