Recap: Foreman Gator Arkansas vs. Lafayette County Cougars
This season hasn't been kind to The Foreman Gator Arkansas, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They were dealt a 58-0 defeat at the hands of Lafayette County on Thursday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Foreman in their matchups with Lafayette County: they've now lost three in a row.
Leading Lafayette County to victory were Jaiden Stewart and Andrew Mack. Stewart picked up 248 receiving yards and four touchdowns, while Mack rushed for 135 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. Stewart was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 67 yards.
Lafayette County's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. The heavy lifting was done by Tasean Gulley and Alex Gutierrez who racked up six sacks between them.
Foreman's loss was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.0 points per game. As for Lafayette County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
