Volleyball Game Preview: MAST Academy Makos vs. Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart Cyclones

The MAST Academy Makos will venture away from home to challenge the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart Cyclones at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

MAST Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coral Reef. The Makos haven't had much luck with the Barracudas recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart came up short against Ransom Everglades on Friday, falling 3-0.

While Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-13.

Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for MAST Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.

MAST Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in their previous matchup back in October of 2023. Can the Makos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
