Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Cougars vs. Scott Eagles
If Calvary Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bishop Brossart on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Scott Eagles on Thursday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
Scott found their leader in sophomore Emory Sullivan, who had 17 digs and four assists. Sullivan is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.
Calvary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Scott, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-11 record this season.
