Softball Game Preview: Golden Gate Titans vs. Dunbar Tigers

The Golden Gate Titans will take on the Dunbar Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 15 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Golden Gate and four for Dunbar.

Golden Gate lost 14-4 to Lely on Friday.

Golden Gate saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Layla Garcia, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Zoey Beaird also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Even though they lost, Golden Gate always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Dunbar came up short against Booker on Monday, falling 24-12.

Golden Gate's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dunbar, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
