Northwood won the last time they faced St. Mary and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Northwood Gators blew past the St. Mary Tigers 54-31. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Northwood was led to victory by Landon Tinsley and Jahari Mccoy. Tinsley posted 19 points and seven boards, while Mccoy had 14 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Tinsley is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Frank Moran was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven boards.

Northwood is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for St. Mary, their loss dropped their record down to 5-20.

Coming up, Northwood will welcome Logansport at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Mary, they will head out to square off against Lakeview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Lakeview's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while St. Mary has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
