Basketball Game Preview: Tampa Bay Tech Titans vs. Leto Falcons

The Tampa Bay Tech Titans will look to defend their home court against the Leto Falcons at 8:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Leto will be up against a hot Tampa Bay Tech team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Tampa Bay Tech was the clear victor by a 68-46 margin over King on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Titans have posted against the Lions since January 24, 2020.

Evan Clark was his usual excellent self, going 9 for 15 en route to 24 points. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Javon Russel, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 10 points.

Meanwhile, Leto lost 85-60 to Sickles on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 527th, while the Gryphons are ranked 181st).

Leto's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Tampa Bay Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Tampa Bay Tech beat Leto 59-49 in their previous meeting back in January of 2021. Will Tampa Bay Tech repeat their success, or does Leto have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
