Kip Allen posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk).

Sadly, Allen's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Colonels' 16-game streak of wins at home.
