Baseball Recap: West Philadelphia Comes Up Short

The Speedboys fell 7-4 to the Bodine Ambassadors on Monday. The Speedboys haven't had much luck with the Ambassadors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

West Philadelphia's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Bodine, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Philadelphia will challenge Roxborough at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bodine, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. The Ambassadors will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matches.
