Basketball Game Preview: Rabun County Wildcats vs. Business Engineering Science Tech Eagles

The Rabun County Wildcats will take on the Business Engineering Science Tech Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rabun County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Business Engineering Science Tech likes a good challenge.

Rabun County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Social Circle 70-39. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Business Engineering Science Tech earned a 58-51 victory over Bleckley County on Wednesday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Royals are ranked 230th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Business Engineering Science Tech has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.1 points over those games. As for Rabun County, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-5.
