Volleyball Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

Canton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Williamson. Canton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Williamson apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Canton was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-11.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Williamson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season.

Canton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Troy on the 11th. As for Williamson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Sayre on the 11th.
