Basketball Recap: Southside Comes Up Short

Southside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Northside Grizzlies 60-21. If the Mavericks were looking for revenge after losing 55-33 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southside's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Northside, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.

Southside will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northside at 6:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Northside, they will square off against Rogers Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Northside's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
