Valley has gone 8-2 against Clay recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Indians will square off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Valley's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Clay's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Valley is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Huntington just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Huntsmen by a score of 7-6.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Clay's offense. They fell just short of South Webster by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Jeeps recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Clay's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.

Everything went Valley's way against Clay in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Valley made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
