Lathrop came out on top against Escalon on Thursday thanks in part to Aaliyah Thompson's efforts. Thompson picked up 16 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The effort marked the most receiving touchdowns she has had since back in October of 2024.

Lathrop's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mountain House at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Mustangs thanks in part to Thompson: she picked up 31 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 50 yards.
