Soccer Game Preview: Richlands vs. First Flight

The Richlands Wildcats will face off against the First Flight Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

First Flight will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Richlands extended their winning streak to five on Thursday. The Wildcats put the hurt on West Carteret with a sharp 6-2 victory. Isaiah Betton was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, First Flight kept a clean sheet against Currituck County on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Knights. First Flight's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

First Flight's win bumped their record up to 8-2-1. As for Richlands, their victory bumped their record up to 15-2-1.
