Volleyball Recap: Magnolia Science Academy Reseda Comes Up Short

Magnolia Science Academy Reseda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Valor Academy. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Valor Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Magnolia Science Academy Reseda couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Valor Academy a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 22-25, 30-28, 25-21.

Magnolia Science Academy Reseda's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Valor Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Magnolia Science Academy Reseda didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology on the 22nd. As for Valor Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lake Balboa College Prep on the 19th.
