Volleyball Recap: Wisconsin Dells Takes a Loss

Wisconsin Dells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Madison Memorial Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14.

Francie DeFosse paced Wisconsin Dells' offense, picking up five kills. DeFosse got some help from Isabelle Johnson and her ten assists. DeFosse was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Wisconsin Dells' defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Madison Memorial, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-14.

Looking ahead, Wisconsin Dells will square off against Westfield Area at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
