Volleyball Game Preview: Addison Trail Blazers vs. Plainfield Central Wildcats

The Addison Trail Blazers will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Plainfield Central Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Addison Trail is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They fell 2-0 to Glenbard North on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Plainfield Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wheaton-Warrenville South on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18.
