Softball Recap: Worthington Takes a Loss

Worthington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 7-2 to the Windom Eagles. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Worthington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Windom, they moved to 9-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Worthington will venture away from home to face off against Pipestone at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Arrows have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Windom, they will welcome Luverne at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
