Baseball Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

Lafayette lost against Rockwood Summit last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lancers came up short against the Falcons, falling 17-6. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Rockwood Summit, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lafayette will take on Howell North at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rockwood Summit, they will challenge Republic at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
