Randleman has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to square off against the Asheboro Blue Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Randleman's defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so Asheboro's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Last Friday, Randleman didn't have too much trouble with Union Pines at home as they won 21-7. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly 14 points.

Randleman can attribute much of their success to Daylan Atkins, who rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave Atkins a new career-high in rushing yards. Brayden Gladden did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 117 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Asheboro was not the first on the board last Friday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 17-10 win over Providence Grove.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to QUINCEY LEE and he. LEE rushed for 24 yards and two touchdowns while he rushed for 24 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making six total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.

Randleman's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Asheboro, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Everything came up roses for Randleman against Asheboro in their previous matchup back in September of 2023 as the squad secured a 53-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Randleman since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
