LaSalle-Peru waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Marquette Crusaders with points to spare, taking the game 55-41. The Cavaliers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

LaSalle-Peru is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Marquette, they dropped their record down to 9-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

LaSalle-Peru will host Galesburg at 1:30 p.m. on January 11th. Marquette has already played their next contest, a 49-45 loss against Roanoke-Benson on the 6th.
