Oswego East and Oswego are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Wolves will welcome the Panthers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Oswego East is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4  runs per game  this season.
Oswego East will bounce into Thursday's   contest after  beating Yorkville, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Wolves walked away with  a   6-1  win over the Foxes  on Wednesday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Wolves.
 Addy Dunn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Danielle Stone, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.  Sammy Herrick also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Oswego put another one in the bag  on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They had just enough and edged out Minooka  10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Panthers have posted  against the Indians since April 27, 2021.
  Kiyah Chavez was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with five  RBI and one  double. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Adalynn Fugitt, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs.
 Oswego pushed their record up to 15-0 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Oswego East,  the  victory  got them back to even at 7-7.
 Oswego East came up short against Oswego in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024, falling  14-9. Can the Wolves avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
