Volleyball Recap: Lake Catholic Takes a Loss

Lake Catholic had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Mentor Cardinals. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

The victory (which was Mentor's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Lake Catholic will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Cougars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mentor, they will square off against Kenston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
