Softball Recap: Patton Comes Up Short

Patton came into this matchup off a tough six-run loss on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Polk County Wolverines by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Patton's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Polk County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

While Patton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
