Basketball Recap: Hidden Valley Comes Up Short

Hidden Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 37-29 to the Bassett Bengals. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hidden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bassett, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Hidden Valley and Bassett will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Titans see the court they'll take on Pulaski County at 1:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026. As for Bassett, their break will end when they face William Byrd at 1:30 p.m. on January 3, 2026.
