Parkwood needed a changed in momentum after dropping seven straight games and they got it from Smith Barlowe. The Wolf Pack skirted past the West Stanly Colts 45-42 for which the team can thank Barlowe, who threw for 285 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 44 yards. He has become a key player for Parkwood: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 0-6 otherwise.
Hudson Snider and Dominik Danzy certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Snider threw for 180 yards and a pair of TDs, while Danzy rushed for 27 yards and one score.
Parkwood's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for West Stanly, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
