Mesa Ridge lost a close one when they played last Tuesday but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 13-3 walloping at the hands of the Lewis-Palmer Rangers. Mesa Ridge has struggled against Lewis-Palmer recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Mesa Ridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Issac Mercedes, who went 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI.

On Lewis-Palmer's side, JW Babbitt spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.
