Football Recap: Brighton Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

Brighton dropped to 6-3 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They fell 39-35 to the Fordson Tractors. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tractors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

As for Fordson, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.7 points over those games.

Dean Hammoud had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 204 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also catching one TD. Fordson is undefeated when Hammoud posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. The Tractors also got help from Adam Darwish, who showed off his sure hands for 83 receiving yards.

Brighton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 25-7 victory against West Bloomfield on the 31st. As for Fordson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-13 win against Farmington on the 31st.
